Maybelline Lavender Voltage Limited Edition Lipstick

  I just picked up the new Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in 1000 Lavender Voltage. It is part of the limited edition fall 2013 lipstick series. It is a true purple colour. It's very creamy. I defnitely reccommend it. The only thing I do not like is the smell - it reminds me of play-doh.
  I picked it up from walmart for $4.97. There are three other colours in the collection that I'm thinking of picking up.

I think the colour really complements green eyes (excuse my lack of other makeup)

Urban Decay Friends and Family Haul 2013

I bought a couple of products from Urban Decay's friends and family sale. The sale lasted for one weekend and made everything on the site, urbandecay.com, 20% off. This sale even included sale items, which I appreciated.
Here's an overview of what I bought.
This is the first order I've made from Urban Decay, and I had one palette from the brand before receiving the order.

I really love the tissue paper and how the items were packed.

My favourite item I bought was the baked bronzer. It's really gorgeous. I got it in the colour baked and it was on sale for $12. It doesn't have that much shimmer, so I can still use it to contour. The packaging is so nice!

I also bought the fun palette for $16. I'm not really sure if I want to keep it or sell it yet. The colours are pigmented, but they are similar to colours I already own.

Overall, I'm really glad with what I bought. Urban Decay offers great quality at a reasonable price.

MOTD 01

This is my makeup of the day from yesterday (17 Oct 13).

I bought a choker and I'm kind of in love with how it looks. My boyfriend doesn't like it, but whatever. The second photo was at the end of the day, so you can really tell how long the eyeshadows last.
